iTutor.com is an online supplemental education company. We work with school districts and parents across the country to provide K-12 home bound instruction, credit recovery and test preparation through our online platform. Our instructors create their own schedules and work from the comfort of their own homes. As we continue to grow we are looking for New York certified teachers that would like the flexibility that we offer through our online classes. Our preferred candidates are Math, Physics, Chemistry, French, and Italian certified teachers.

Seeking Online Faculty to develop curriculum, teach, and support students in Digital Literacy. In this General Education course, students learn how to navigate, evaluate, create, and critically apply information using the critical and practical aspects of digital tools, technologies, and resources. Through applying their knowledge to their academic studies and professional development, students will recognize digital literacy’s significance in information sharing, community building, citizenship, and education.

Minimum of a master’s degree, doctorate preferred, in special education from a regionally accredited institution
Minimum of 3 years teaching special education at a preK-12 school.
Superior written communication and interpersonal skills
Experience teaching and learning in the online environment preferred
Adept with technology, including the Internet, learning management systems and Microsoft Office programs.Blackboard experience a plus.
Must own a reliable portable computer with Internet connection
Flexible schedule; must be willing to work with students outside of the traditional workday

Education Program Specific
- 3+ years of PreK-12 classroom teaching experience
- Demonstrated experience as a PreK-12 academic supervisor or administrator
- Current educator certification/credential
- Knowledge in area of PreK-12 curriculum and instruction development

- Doctorate of Curriculum and Instruction or related field
- 3+ years of administration experience with curriculum oversight
