Proven success in an online teaching and learning environment
Earned doctorate preferred, in education or related field (Ed.D. or Ph.D.)
Professional on-ground experience as an educator, preferably at the middle and / or high school level.
Knowledge base and experience preferred in one or more of the following areas: assessment, child development, differentiation of instruction and assessment, instructional methodologies, classroom management, collaborative teaching, inclusive classrooms, educational technology, and teaching reading across content areas
Experience with CAEP/NCATE accreditation preferred. Ability and willingness to meet standards-based, data-driven accreditation / accountability requirements related to pedagogical standards.
